Hong Kong has long perceived itself as a global metropolis. As documented by Hong Kong, French Connections: From the 19th Century to the Present Day, French immigration to Hong Kong dates back to the early 20th century and shows no signs of abating today. What personal stories can we discover from the French diaspora? What brings them to Hong Kong? What do they cherish the most about the city? As globalisation leads people to leave their country in search for a new home, how does one reconcile the cultural differences between home and host countries?

The running time of the performance is approximately 70 minutes.

Performed in Cantonese and English with English surtitles
